Mae Wicidestun Ffrangeg, yn cyhoeddi nifer o'i lyfrau dwywaith. Unwaith yn y ffordd draddodiadol efo tudalen trawsgrifio ar gyfer pob pennod / cerdd / erthygl etc ac wedyn eilwaith efo'r llyfr cyfan wedi ei drawsgrifio ar un tudalen. Eu rheswm dros wneud hyn yw er mwyn galluogi chwiliad o fewn llyfr yn fwy hylaw. Er enghraifft os ydwyf yn cofio bod cerdd am &quot;bronfraith&quot; yn Nhelynegion Maes a Môr, heb gofio teitl y gerdd, gallwn fynd at y testun cyfansawdd un tudalen a chwilio am y gair bronfraith trwy ddefnyddio Ctrl/F i gael hyd i'r gerdd yn haws na defnyddio'r chwiliad o bopeth sydd ar safle Wicidestun. Y 30 diwrnod diwethaf bu'r uchaf yn rhif y defnyddwyr gweithgar ers i mi fod yn weithgar ar y safle sef - 7! Fel arfer mae'n ddau neu dri, gan hynny rwy'n ddeall, yn rhannol, pam nad ydynt yn fodlon cael weinyddwr arall (er, yn dal i gredu, mae imperialaeth sy'n gwrthod ystyried anghenion ieithoedd llai yw'r brif broblem)

Mae dwy broblem sy'n rhwystro Cymry rhag cyfrannu i Wicidestun.

1) Mae'r tudalennau help yn mynd i'r safle Saesneg sy'n uffernol o gymhleth, yn delio efo problemau sy'n deillio o uwch lwytho a gwirio miloedd o lyfrau, yn hytrach na'r gwybodaeth elfennol sydd angen i gyfrannwr o'r newydd cyfrannu un! 

Mi fûm yn chwarae efo Wicidestun am bron i bum mlynedd cyn gweithio allan sut i wneud iawn ddefnydd ohono. Sydd yn hurt. Heb hawl weinyddwr bydd dim hawl gennyf newid cyfeiriad y tudalen &quot;help&quot; ond gallwn greu &quot;llyfr&quot; sy'n trafod y ''basics'' o fformatio tudalennau, a ballu, a'i osod fel llyfr parhaus ym mrig y &quot;llyfrau diweddar&quot;

2) Mae mynd at y tudalennau &quot;indecs&quot; yn cyflwyno chi i ddigon o gig i grogi ci. Ti'n edrych ar y gwaith ac yn meddwl &quot;ffwc na&quot;! Dim i fi!

Hello all,

We'd like to provide an update on the work on the Enforcement Guidelines for the Universal Code of Conduct.  After the conclusion of the community vote on the guidelines in March, the [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia Foundation Community Affairs Committee|Community Affairs committee (CAC)]] of the Board [https://lists.wikimedia.org/hyperkitty/list/wikimedia-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/JAYQN3NYKCHQHONMUONYTI6WRKZFQNSC/ asked that several areas of the guidelines be reviewed for improvements] before the Board does its final review. These areas were identified based on community discussions and comments provided during the vote. The CAC also requested review of the controversial Note in 3.1 of the UCoC itself.

Once more, a big thank you to all who voted, especially to all who left constructive feedback and comments!  The project team is working with the Board to establish a timeline for this work, and will communicate this next month. 

Members of the two prior [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Universal Code of Conduct/Drafting committee|UCoC Drafting Committees]] have generously offered their time to help shape improvements to the Guidelines. You can read more about them and their work [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Universal Code of Conduct/Drafting committee#Revisions_Committee|here]], as well as read [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Universal_Code_of_Conduct/Drafting_committee/Phase_2_meeting_summaries#2022|summaries of their weekly meetings in 2022]]. 

Wikimedians have provided many valuable comments together with the vote and in other conversations. Given the size and diversity of the Wikimedia community, there are even more voices out there who can give ideas on how to improve the enforcement guidelines and add even more valuable ideas to the process. To help the Revisions committee identify improvements, input on several questions for the committee’s review is requested. Hello. I wanted to give you an update about the [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Reading/Web/Desktop_Improvements|Desktop Improvements]] project, which the Wikimedia Foundation Web team has been working on for the past few years. Our work is almost finished! 🎉

We would love to see these improvements become the default for readers and editors across all wikis. &lt;span style=&quot;background-color:#fc3;&quot;&gt;In the coming weeks, we will begin conversations on more wikis, including yours. 🗓️&lt;/span&gt; We will gladly read your suggestions!

The goals of the project are to make the interface more welcoming and comfortable for readers and useful for advanced users. The project consists of a series of feature improvements which make it easier to read and learn, navigate within the page, search, switch between languages, use article tabs and the user menu, and more. The improvements are already visible by default for readers and editors on more than 30 wikis, including Wikipedias in [[:fr:|French]], [[:pt:|Portuguese]], and [[:fa:|Persian]].

The changes apply to the [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=vector}} Vector] skin only, although it will always be possible to revert to the previous version on an individual basis. [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=monobook}} Monobook] or [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=timeless}} Timeless] users will not notice any changes.

Hi all,

Community members in the [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia Foundation elections/2022|2022 Board of Trustees election]] are invited to [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia_Foundation_elections/2022/Community_Voting/Election_Compass|propose statements to use in the Election Compass.]]

An Election Compass is a tool to help voters select the candidates that best align with their beliefs and views. The community members will propose statements for the candidates to answer using a Lickert scale (agree/neutral/disagree). The candidates’ answers to the statements will be loaded into the Election Compass tool. Voters will use the tool by entering in their answer to the statements (agree/disagree/neutral). The results will show the candidates that best align with the voter’s beliefs and views.

;Here is the timeline for the Election Compass:

* July 8 - 20: Community members propose statements for the Election Compass
* July 21 - 22: Elections Committee reviews statements for clarity and removes off-topic statements
* July 23 - August 1: Volunteers vote on the statements
* August 2 - 4: Elections Committee selects the top 15 statements
* August 5 - 12: candidates align themselves with the statements
* August 15: The Election Compass opens for voters to use to help guide their voting decision

The Elections Committee will select the top 15 statements at the beginning of August. The Elections Committee will oversee the process, supported by the Movement Strategy and Governance team. MSG will check that the questions are clear, there are no duplicates, no typos, and so on.

Hello all,

We'd like to provide an update on the work on the Enforcement Guidelines for the Universal Code of Conduct.  After the conclusion of the community vote on the guidelines in March, the [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Wikimedia Foundation Community Affairs Committee|Community Affairs committee (CAC)]] of the Board [https://lists.wikimedia.org/hyperkitty/list/wikimedia-l@lists.wikimedia.org/thread/JAYQN3NYKCHQHONMUONYTI6WRKZFQNSC/ asked that several areas of the guidelines be reviewed for improvements] before the Board does its final review. These areas were identified based on community discussions and comments provided during the vote. The CAC also requested review of the controversial Note in 3.1 of the UCoC itself.

Once more, a big thank you to all who voted, especially to all who left constructive feedback and comments!  The project team is working with the Board to establish a timeline for this work, and will communicate this next month. 

Members of the two prior [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Universal Code of Conduct/Drafting committee|UCoC Drafting Committees]] have generously offered their time to help shape improvements to the Guidelines. Hello. I wanted to give you an update about the [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Reading/Web/Desktop_Improvements|Desktop Improvements]] project, which the Wikimedia Foundation Web team has been working on for the past few years. Our work is almost finished! 🎉

We would love to see these improvements become the default for readers and editors across all wikis. &lt;span style=&quot;background-color:#fc3;&quot;&gt;In the coming weeks, we will begin conversations on more wikis, including yours. 🗓️&lt;/span&gt; We will gladly read your suggestions!

The goals of the project are to make the interface more welcoming and comfortable for readers and useful for advanced users. The project consists of a series of feature improvements which make it easier to read and learn, navigate within the page, search, switch between languages, use article tabs and the user menu, and more. The improvements are already visible by default for readers and editors on more than 30 wikis, including Wikipedias in [[:fr:|French]], [[:pt:|Portuguese]], and [[:fa:|Persian]].

The changes apply to the [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=vector}} Vector] skin only, although it will always be possible to revert to the previous version on an individual basis. [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=monobook}} Monobook] or [{{fullurl:{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}|useskin=timeless}} Timeless] users will not notice any changes.

&quot;This is a very remarkable little volume. The writer,
who conceals himself under the ''nom de plume'' &quot;Munullog,&quot;
is a man of extraordinary natural intelligence, elevation of
spirit, and nobility of character; . . . . . . 

It is impossible to read through the prose essay on &quot;Creeds,&quot;
which opens the volume, and the other prose essay on
&quot;Religious Reform,&quot; with which it closes, without experiencing a very lively feeling of delight at being brought
into contact with the brave and wise man who penned
them. Did the Brochure contain nothing but these two
papers, it would be a great bargain at the shilling that is
charged for it; but we feel that there is something singularly incongruous in attempting to assign any monetary
value whatever to these compositions, which are obviously
the frank and unconsciously courageous utterances of a soul

Pe gofyniad i mi, pa beth yw y pwysicaf, o'r holl
bethau sydd yn galw ac yn hawlio sylw diwygwyr yr oes

fel nad ellir yn yr amser at ein gwasanaeth yn bresenol,
ond taflu cipdrem arnynt—rhyw braidd-gyffwrdd ar penaf
a mwyaf amlwg o honynt.

Am y drefn bresenol ar gymdeithas gellir dweud yn
gyntaf mai trefn ddi-drefn; cynllun, di-gynllun, ydyw.
Yn Caban f'ewyrth Twm, un o'r cymeriadau ydyw Topsi.
Pan ofynwyd i Topsi pa bryd y ganwyd hi, atebodd:
&quot;Ni anwyd fi o gwbl, tyfu wnaethum I.&quot; Felly y gellir
dweud am gymdeithas—tyfiad ydyw. Pan edrychir ar
dy neu offeryn, neu beirniant, gellir gweled yn mhob un

eu bod wedi cael eu gwneud yn ol cynllun a fodolai o'u
blaen. Ond nid oes un gymdeithas ar wyneb y ddaear

pob peth. Mae y tir yn perthyn iddo, a rhaid talu iddo.
O'r cyfoeth a enillir trwy lafur, rhaid rhoi rhan fawr
am haw! i'w ddefnyddio. O'cyfoeth a enillir trwy
lafur, rhaid rhoi rhan fawr i'r penaeth. Ac os ymosodir
ar y penaeth, neu os ymosoda efe ar rhywun arall, mae
yn rhaid i'r bobl ymladd drosto ac aberthu eu bywyd
i'w gadw ef rhag niwed. Rhywbeth yn debyg i hyn
ydoedd dechreuad cymdeithas, ac nid yw y drefn a fodola
yn bresenol ddim amgen na dadblygiad o honi.

Yn ail, trefn hunanol ydyw i gorff y bobl. Ei harwyddair ydyw,&quot;Pob un drosto ei hun.&quot; Yn awr, pe buasai
pawb yn gyfartal o ran maint a grym corfforol, yn
gyfartal o ran gallu meddyliol ac addysg, ac yn gyfartal
o ran profiad a chyfleusderau, fuasai dim cymaint i'w
ddweud yn ei herbyn. Ond yma anghyfartalwch yw
y rheol. Mae rhai yn gryf a llawer yn wan. Mae rhai
yn iach a llawer yn afiach. Mae rhai yn ddysgedig a
llawer yn annysgedig. Mae rhai yn byw yn nghanol
cyfleusderau, a llawer heb un cyfleusdra yn eu cyraedd.
Mewn amgylchiadau fel hyn, nid yw bywyd a'i bleserau
yn ddim amgen nag ymgiprys, lle mae yr oll neu agos
