Om du har problem läsa nyhetsbrevet så finns det också på http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Sverige/Styrelsen/Nästa_nyhetsbrev För styrelsen,<br> Anders Wennersten ==Den nya föreningen== Det första årsmötet för Wikimedia Sverige ägde rum den 20:e oktober på Naturhistoriska riksmuseet. Vi var 51 personer, varav 40 registrerade deltagare och 11 gäster, vilket väl måste sägas vara rekord för Wikimedia Sverige. Gäst från Wikimedia Foundation var Delphine Ménard, som koordinerar alla lokalföreningar. Redan före årsmötet hade föreningen registrerats med bankkonto och bankgiro, så vi kunde köra igång direkt. För att ha rätt utnyttja namnet krävs formellt också ett godkännande av Wikimedia Foundation, men Delphine är såpass nöjd med hur vi startat upp, att hon har gett oss tillstånd att redan nu köra som vi har detta formella godkännande, och också släppt in oss i WMFs interna maillista. ==Vad vi åstadkommit hittills== Vi har haft två styrelsemöten, lagt upp information om föreningen på meta, etablerat arbetsyta och arbetsordning för styrelsen på meta och etablerat en e-postlista för Wikimedia Sverige. Vi har tagit fram affischer och en broschyr. Vi hade vår första närvaro som Wikimedia Sverige på Internetdagarna den 5-6 november. Vi kände en mycket positiv återkoppling och att vår etablering som stödförening ligger helt rätt i tiden. Vi var mycket glada då Lars på mötet fick en ärorik utmärkelse av SNUS, bla för sitt arbete att få igång föreningen. Vi fick 13 personer som betalade medlemsavgiften på plats och ytterligare en dryg handfull som uttalade sin avsikt att gå med via bankgiroinbetalning. Vi har etablerat ett medlemsregister där våra nu över 60 medlemmar finns registrerade. För utskick av detta nyhetsbrev så utnytjar vi e-postadresserna från medlemsregistret som vi i övrigt i god föreningssed bara kommer användas i direkta föreningsärenden. ==På gång== * Den kommande helgen så kommer vi vara delaktiga i biblioteksmässan i Karlstad * Till veckan 3–8 december förbereder vi en minivariant av Edit Wikipedia Week * Den 7–8 december kommer vi medverka FSCONS i Göteborg. http://fscons.org/ ** Vi har behov av fler i vår "monter" så om ni har möjlighet hjälpa till, hör av er. ==Donationer och sponsring== Både Wikimedia Foundation och Wikimedia Sverige drivs ideellt. Wikimedia Sveriges medlemsavgift räcker nu i början enbart till de administrativa kostnaderna. Därför är vi mycket intresserade att utveckla möjligheten att ge donationer till föreningen som tagit väldig fart i andra lokalavdelningar. Vi har därför redan satt igång att arbeta med och lära oss från ett konkret fall där en person/företag är intresserad donera en större summa mot möjligheten att på sin sajt deklarara sig som "stödjare av Wikimedia Sverige". Vi undersöker möjligheten att ha den i Göteborg. Denna vill samla ett antal kärnartiklar från Wikipedia, som är extra fylliga och som fått kvalitetsstämpling av "experter". Visonen är att på sikt kunna visa upp en subwikipedia med kvalitétssäkrade och fylliga artiklar för de grundläggande ämnesord man förväntar sig i en encyklopedi. http://en.veropedia.com/docs/faq.php Framiden lär visa om detta är ett stickspår som strider mot wikipedia vision "all kunskap till alla" eller om det är ett huvudspår som säkrar tillförlitlighet i aritklar.
