- How would we know? I don't know enough about Afar to know if it is or isn't. But I can see how "'Ir·r·ropinjtuñ" might possibly be legit, because the last part -tuñ seems similar to words in many languages throughout the Islamic world, being a cognate of Arabic "dunia" meaning land, continent... 70.105.52.165 13:52, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

- This is definitely not Afar. I don't know Afar very well, but I do know the closely related Somali language, and this doesn't resemble it in the slightest. Afar has significantly more vowels and significantly less complex consonant clusters. And Afar orthography doesn't have an ñ at all (for a real sample, see for instance this). 137.163.18.99 14:19, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
