Binoculars are a tool that let people see far-away things more clearly. They are made as a pair of tubes that are held in front of someone's eyes. The tubes have lenses that focus the light that comes into the tubes. They also have prisms that bend the light. When someone look through the binoculars at a far-away object, it looks much closer.
