Classic

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A classic refers to something that is between 25 and 50 years old. After it reaches 50 years old, it become a "modern antique." From there, it remains at that status until it reaches 75 years of age and becomes a true antique.

However, classic books may be older than 50 years old. For example, Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott, is a classic.
