William Henry Cavendish Cavendish-Bentinck, 3rd Duke of Portland, (April 14, 1738October 30, 1809) was a British Whig and Tory statesman and Prime Minister ofGreat Britain. After Northern Ireland joined Great Britain to form the United Kingdom, he was again made Prime Minister. This time, he was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
