Polymer
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The word "polymer" can be broken down into "poly" (meaning "many") and "mer" (meaning "unit") which shows how the chemical composition of a polymer consists of many smaller units bound together into a single larger molecule.
If the "units" that make up a polymer are all the same, then the polymer is called a "homopolymer".
If the "units" are different, the polymer is called a "heteropolymer".
