Primates are a group of mammals that contains all lemurs, monkeys, and apes including humans. There are about 350 species of primates.
All primates similar to humans in some ways. Many primates have hands with five fingers, with fingernails (most animals have claws). Primates are spit into two groups: simians and prosimians. Simians include monkeys, apes, and humans. Prosimians include Lemurs and Tarsiers.
