A mall is a group of stores that are close to each other and sell products. People visit the stores in the mall to shop. Most malls have parking lots, places to put cars. Most malls have roofs so people can shop inside. Most malls have a food court, which is an area where people buy food. More modern malls have Movie theatres.

The Dixie Square Mall, was from the 1980 movie The Blues Brothers, located in Harvey, Illinois. Sadly, the mall is half demolished.
The Hawthorne Plaza is a half closed mall, that was featured in many movies.
The Eden Prarie Mall, was featured in the 1995 film Mallrats.
West Edmonton Mall, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is one of the largest malls in the world.
The Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota is one of the largest malls in the world.
