Ant
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ants are insects that live under the ground in very large groups. Each group is called a "colony".
The colony has a female ant, called a "queen", who lays eggs. Those eggs will hatch into female worker ants who do work.
Ants are very small, but can carry twenty times their own weight. Usually, ants will carry food back to the colony so that the other ants can eat.
