Nakhodka (Russian Находка) is one of the furthest east cities in Russia.

Nakhodka is a port on Japan Sea and is located around Nakhodka Bay.

Village Amerikanka, founded 1907 or 1908, was first permanent settlement on a place of modern city. Nakhodka was organized as urban-type fisher's settlement in 1941 and received city's status May 19, 1950. Since this date is City Day.
