Left: the Leica R4 of 1980, which would define the styling design of Leica SLR for the next 20 years. Shown with 24mm f2.8 Elmarit and Motor Drive R. Right: The Leica SL2 of 1974, the last of the Leicaflex line, the last mechanical SLR made by Leica for the next 14 years, and deemed by many to be the finest SLR ever made. This particular version of the SL2 is the SL2 MOT, shown with its motor drive and original 50mm f1.4 Summilux. Slightly over 1,000 SL2 MOTs were manufactured.

Photographed by: Rei Shinozuka, 9-11-2005, Kodak DX7440, GIMP photo software.
