A galaxy is a group of millions of stars, gas, dust, and dark matter. Galaxies are held together by gravity. Everything in a galaxy moves around a center.
Our Galaxy is called the Milky Way.
There are three main types of galaxies: ellipticals, spirals, and irregulars.
