These lizards are found in the forests of Kenyan and Tanzania . Jackson ’s Chameleons have been introduced to the United States with large populations being found in Hawaii. They live and breed naturally there now. Males are easily recognized, they have two horns above their eyes and one horn on their nose. Females do not have horns, or if they do they are very small. If males are kept together in a cage, they get stressed, and eventually die. A proper ratio is 1 male to 1 female.

Maximum size: 15” Lighting: Specialized reptile lights for viewing nocturnal animals would be a good choice. Full spectrum fluorescent UVB bulbs and a basking light are required. Temperature range: Day 60°- 78° F Night 60°- 68° F Basking 86° F
