Gasoline
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gasoline, gas, or petrol is a fuel. It comes from fractional distillation of petroleum, a fossil fuel. That means the petroleum is heated to a very high temperature and then things start to separate.
[edit] Uses
Gasoline is most often used in vehicles like cars, vans, etc. But larger vehicles like trucks use diesel oil. Gasoline can also be used in lawn mowers.
[edit] Dangers
Gasoline is very dangerous. It can explode when an electric spark lights it.
