Edward VI of England

Edward VI of England (October 12, 1537July 6, 1553), the son of Henry VIII of England and Jane Seymour, was King of England and King of Ireland from January 28, 1547 until his death. His succesor was Lady Jane Grey. He was a young King, not very well known in history. He became king at the age of 10. His mother (Jane Seymour) died 12 days after his birth.

He is one of the main characters (the 'prince') of the fictional story The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain.
