Consistency
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Consistency is an agreement between all things or parts. Consistancy is alway doing something the same way and getting the same results. If everyone doing a job follows the same rules about how to do the job, the result of the job will be the same. One person's result will be consistant with (the same as) the result of the other people. All the results will have consistancy with each other.
It is important to be consistent in science so that the results can be trusted. There are many systems in science and other fields to help everyone around the world be consistent, and to make everyones results easier to understand.
