Cartridge
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A cartridge is a kind of box which is made for putting inside a bigger machine. The cartridge holds something that the bigger machine uses.
For example:-
- A video game cartridge holds computer chips (for the game).
- An ink cartridge holds ink for a printer.
A cartridge is easy to use. For example, an ink cartridge is easier to use than a bottle of ink. This is because all the ink is inside the cartridge.
A cassette is a small cartridge. The words have similar meanings.
