Blink-182

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blink-182 (sometimes blink-182) was a popular pop-punk band. Their name used to be blink. The band formed in 1992 in San Diego, California as a trio: Tom DeLonge (vocals / guitars), Mark Hoppus (bass) and Scott Raynor (drums).

The band gained popularity with their second album Dude Ranch, including "Dammit" and "Josie". Both songs were popular on the radio. Raynor left the band afterwards and had been replaced by current drummer Travis Barker. As of November 2005, blink-182 released 5 full albums so far (not counting the 1993 demo Buddha).

Blink-182 stopped performing in early 2005. The group has gone on an indefinite hiatus ever since.
