From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hot dog with condiments.
A hot dog (or hotdog) is a type of food. Usually it consists of a sausage (Frankfurter or Wiener), which gets boiled. This sausage is then inserted into a bun or another type of bread.
To enhance the taste, sauces are added. The most common sauces are hotdog ketchup or mustard.
The quote, "Hot dog," is also attributed to J. Robert Oppenheimer.
