[deasaich] Request for article
Greetings AnSiarach, Could you please translate this article into Scots Gaelic for me? (based on [1]) - Please. -- Jose77.
Thankyou very much for accepting my request. May Gàidhlig wikipedia prosper! And it would definitely be well worth the wait!-- Jose77, 3 March.

[deasaich] Hello!
Hallo, AnSiarach, ciamar a tha sibh? As you may know, the English language Wikipedia has recently reached one million articles! The millionth article is about a railway station in Scotland. Because the article is being mentioned in news all across the internet, there has been a huge effort to make it a good article, as it will be the first impression many people have of the Wikipedia project. We are trying to get translations into as many languages as possible. I am only a Gaelic learner, and do not feel confortable enough to do the translation, but thought that maybe you could, or perhaps you know someone who could do it. This could help bring contributors over here to gd. Thanks in advance for any help! — orioneight (talk) 17:45, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[deasaich] Hallo
Moran taing airson ur faclan coibhneil. Tha mi a' smaoineachadh air na rudan feumail a tha ri dheanamh a-nis -
1 - a' cur na sula air na artagailean fada. Feumaidh cuideigin (aig a bheil gramar nas fhearr na mise) ga dheanamh. 2 - a' leasachadh artagailean feumail, air cuspairean bunaiteach, m.e. uisge, boireannach, agus grian. (Fhuair mi liosta "Swadesh" sa Ghaidhlig, ach tha Gaeilge gu leor air) 3 - a' cur naidheachdan 7c air Duille Mhor. 4 - ag obair air na gnethan.

p.s. Tha mi'n dochas gum bidh saor-laithean math agaibh!
[deasaich] An sguab mhòr
A Shiaraiche chòir,
Tha mi a' faicinn gun d'thug thu an sguab mhòr don Ghàidhlig suarach a chuir mi air An Gearasdan:
http://gd.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=An_Gearasdan&curid=880&diff=18788&oldid=18744
ach nach e facal boireann a th' ann am beinn? Agus dè tha ceàrr le a'bheinn as àirde agus mòran bheann?
Chan e rud mòr a th' ann. Dìreach a' gabhail iognantas.

[deasaich] Wikipedia: Litreachadh
A Shiaraiche chòir,
Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gum bu chòir duilleag àraidh bhith againne air a' WP Gàidhlig far am b' urrain dhuinn deasbaireachd air litreachaidhean "connsachail" no teagmhach. Tha litreachadh (agus gràmar) na G ann an suidheachadh caochlaideach a-nise, agus bu chòir dhuinn uile bhith a' dol le chèile.
Dè do bheachd?

[deasaich] Translation Request
Greetings AnSiarach!
Can you please kindly help me translate these passages into the unique Scottish Gaelic language?
"Jesus Christ, the Word who became flesh, died on the cross for the redemption of sinners, resurrected on the third day and ascended to heaven. He is the only Saviour of mankind, the Creator of the heavens and earth, and the only true God".
"The Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired by God, the only scriptural truth, and the standard for Christian living".
"Salvation is given by the grace of God through faith. Believers must rely on the Holy Spirit to pursue holiness, to honour God, and to love humanity".
"The Lord's Second Coming will take place on the Last Day when He descends from heaven to judge the world: the righteous will receive eternal life, while the wicked will be eternally condemned".
Your help would be very gratefully appreciated, Thankyou very much.
