It behaves much like an intercom. Users can have a quick chat, without needing a coordinator.  The user interface is very intuitive, and very conference oriented with different types of meeting rooms, lobby, and auditoria. Few options have to be configured by the user. The application is well built, and adapts well to the different conference roles (administrator, host, guest). Graphics, audio, video are working well, also on a smartphone or a [[Chromebook]].  [[Wikimedia Nederland|WMNL]] has used it during Covid. [[Wikimedia Belgium|WMBE]] is using it since then to organise small virtual video calls.  While a presentation, or a (restricted) meeting is running in the auditorium, people can still communicate freely in the lobby, independent from the other meeting rooms.  In January 2025, Spatial Chat has been acquired by [[QuestionPro]]. == Functionality ==   The system has a very clear and simple interface (no documentation required, not for participants, not for presenters, not for administrators). The application automatically shows more or fewer options depending on the user rights, and the type of room. Since 2023 the Free Plan limits sharing a screen. It allows for maximum 12 participants during 2 hours per day.
