== Запыт на статус адміністратара [[Удзельнік:Plaga med]] ==
Пакрысе пералапачваю тут шаблоны і модулі, патрэбны правы [[:en:w:Wikipedia:Interface administrators|адміністратара інтэрфэйсу]], каб правіць абароненыя старонкі і прастору MediaWiki. Вельмі шмат хаосу нарабілася з модулямі і шаблонамі, ёсць састарэлы код, ёсць дрэнны код, ёсць проста нешта з ру ВС падцягнутае ўсляпую, нічога практычна не было падвязана на ВД, выпраўляю па меры магчымасці. Таксама планую павыдаляць смеццевыя шаблоны і модулі, каб усё было больш-менш прыбрана. Працы тут вельмі шмат, вопыт з be.wikipedia.org ёсць, там таксама адмін. Думаю, тут мае кампетэнцыі таксама спатрэбяцца. Не абяцаю планамернай пастаяннай працы, але думаю карысці праекту прынясу. Калі будуць прэтэнзіі, заўвагі, запыты, можаце смела пісаць мне ў асабістых размовах. Таксама пастараюся абмеркаванні тут прывесці да ладу, каб былі падстаронкі для запытаў і ўсё нейк афармлялася ў нармальны раздзел ВС. :{{за}} я не дужа актыўны тут і не маю часу пільна прыглядзецца да ўдзельніка, але ведаю, што Вікіслоўніку трэба шмат працы, асабліва ў тэхнічным плане, таму вітаю любую ініцыятыву. Зычу поспехаў. Таксама заўважу, што ідэале такія абмеркаванні мусяць адбывацца не на форуме, а на асобнай старонцы, дзе была б прапісана працэдура галасавання, кворум і г.д. Таму ў тым ліку папярэдняе галасаванне тармазнула. Таму ў гэтым плане трэба будзе ў перспектыве папрацаваць арганізацыйна, на маю думку. Период обзора начнется 17 августа 2021 года.

From April 29, it will be possible to suggest values for parameters in templates. This allows template users to quickly select an appropriate value. This way, it prevents potential errors and reduces the effort needed to fill the template with values. Earlier this year, the Editing team ran a large study of [[mw:Talk pages project/Replying|the Reply Tool]].  The main goal was to find out whether the Reply Tool helped [[mw:Talk pages project/Glossary|newer editors]] communicate on wiki.  The second goal was to see whether the comments that newer editors made using the tool needed to be reverted more frequently than comments newer editors made with the existing wikitext page editor.

The key results were:

* Newer editors who had automatic (&quot;default on&quot;) access to the Reply tool were [https://wikimedia-research.github.io/Reply-tools-analysis-2021/ more likely] to post a comment on a talk page.
* The comments that newer editors made with the Reply Tool were also [https://wikimedia-research.github.io/Reply-tools-analysis-2021/ less likely] to be reverted than the comments that newer editors made with page editing.

These results give the Editing team confidence that the tool is helpful.

&lt;strong&gt;Looking ahead&lt;/strong&gt;

The team is planning to make the Reply tool available to everyone as an opt-out preference in the coming months.  This has already happened at the Arabic, Czech, and Hungarian Wikipedias.

The next step is to [[phab:T280599|resolve a technical challenge]]. Then, they will deploy the Reply tool first to the [[phab:T267379|Wikipedias that participated in the study]].  After that, they will deploy it, in stages, to the other Wikipedias and all WMF-hosted wikis.

At that time, we used to start working on the Wishlist soon after the results of the voting were published.

We hope having the Wishlist 2022 in January 2022 will be more intuitive. This will also give us time to fulfill more wishes from the 2021 Wishlist.

* Know how to write collaboratively. (demonstrated experience is a plus) 
* Are ready to find compromises.

* Have experience negotiating with different parties. 

The Committee is expected to start with 15 people. If there are 20 or more candidates, a mixed election and selection process will happen. If there are 19 or fewer candidates, then the process of selection without election takes place.
