त्रिपाठी क जनम 28 सितंबर 1976 के भारतीय राज्य बिहार के गोपालगंज जिला के बेलसँड़ गाँव (बरौली ब्लॉक) में एगो हिंदू ब्राह्मण परिवार में पंडित बनारस तिवारी आ हेमवंती तिवारी के चार गो संतानन में सभसे छोट बेटा के रूप में भइल। इनके बाबूजी खेतीबारी आ पुरोहिताई करे लें। त्रिपाठी अपना बाबूजी के साथै खेती के काम करें जबले ऊ कक्षा 11 में पढ़ें। तिहुआर के सीजन में त्रिपाठी अपना गाँव में होखे वाला नाटक में लड़की के रोल करें आ एकरा खातिर उनके तारीफी मिलल आ एही से उनके एक्टिंग में कैरियर बनावे के प्रेरणा मिलल। हाई इस्कूल के बाद त्रिपाठी पटना चल अइलें आ इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ होटल मैनेजमेंट, हाजीपुर में पढ़लें। ड्रामा में दाखिला लिहलें आ एहिजे से 2004 में ग्रेजुएट बनलें। ==कैरियर== नेशनल स्कूल ऑफ़ ड्रामा से गेजुएशन करे के बाद त्रिपाठी मुंबई आ गइलें आ पहिले टाटा टी के बिग्यापन में नेता के रोल कइलें ओकरा बाद रन में एगो छोटहन रोल कइलें। 2008 में ई बाहुबली टीवी सीरिज में एक्टिंग कइलें आ बाद में सोनी टीवी के पावडर में काम कइलें। 2012 में इनका के बढ़ियां ब्रेकथ्रू मिलल गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर में जेह में ई सुल्तान के किरदार कइलें। एह फिलिम खातिर इनकर ऑडिशन लगभग आठ घंटा चलल। शुरूआती कैरियर में इनके निगेटिव रोल मिललें आ ई गैंगस्टर कैरेक्टर सभ कइलें। बाद में इनके बिबिध किसिम के रोल मिले लगलें आ इनहन खातिर पहिचान
