We had nine attendees, with everyone being experienced Wikimedians from various projects. We also solicited feedback from the participants about strategic planning for the year, including advertising upcoming workshops and events for the club. One participant was from British Columbia; I spoke with him about how to start a club in his region and offered additional insight into sending information on the process of getting a club started. I am also going to compile the various slides from this event and previous ones into commons files that can be used by other Wikiclubs for their events. Participants gave positive feedback. Many of them were interested in how to get more events started in various locations. We also spoke about our next, informal event in November. For future events, we want to explore better advertising. We should have sent out a dedicated email blast to our mailing list to promote the event. We did a geonotice watchlist for English Wikipedia, but we should also explore doing a notice on meta so it goes out to all the Wikis. For the next event, I have put on my schedule some dates when I want to send out the notices so that they are completed with enough time for participants to attend. We also used the dashboard for the first time, and explored its features with this event.
