Dec 2017: WMF Analytics Team is happy to announce the first release of Wikistats 2 Wikistats has been redesigned for architectural simplicity, faster data processing, and a more dynamic and interactive user experience. The data used in the reports will also be made available for external processing. First goal is to match the numbers of the current system, and to provide the most important reports, as decided by the Wikistats community (see survey). |
Legend: (3m)=3 month average | M=x1,000,000, k=x1000 | More: T=Tables, C=Charts | Access: A=Admin, B=Bureaucrat, C=Checkuser, D=Developer, O=Oversight, X=bot, R=Ratio: Admins/New articles per day Number of speakers of a language is the estimated total of primary and secondary speakers, and is in many cases a very rough estimation (based on the page on the English Wikipedia about that language) Localization level: The localization score expresses in a number between 0 and 100 how complete the localization for a given language is on translatewiki.net. It is a weighted average of the completeness levels for different categories of messages. For details see the script. Percentages: percentage anonymous edits is calculated as percentage of manual edits (= total edits - bot edits). See below for explanation of other percentages.
|
Percentages are shown as follows: %new | %inc = x% | +y%
x% shows which fraction of the current total results from last year's activity.
y% shows the same growth figure, but now as a percentual increase over last year's figure.
Both percentages have been rounded to integers.
Example:
The total number of articles has increased in a year from 80,000 to 100,000 =>
Equivalent statements are:
- 20% of the current articles has been added last year.
- The current number of articles is 125% as large as a year ago.
- The number of articles has grown by 25% in a year.
This will be shown as 20% | +25%
